About Seneca College

Seneca CollegeStudents completing the Upper-Advanced Level at Canada House can obtain free counseling for application and course selection to Seneca College. A TOEFL test is not required to obtain admission to the College at this point.

All students must complete an English Placement Test upon applying to the college. The test is completed at Canada House after the application process is completed. The test costs $25.

Seneca College is one of the largest colleges in Canada. Their mission is to provide career-related education and training that enables students to succeed in the global economy. Seneca College has over 14,000 full-time students.

Students graduating from the college receive a diploma or certificate depending on the course.

Seneca College also offers its own residence with over 600 rooms available.

The academic year is divided into three semesters:

  • Fall:  September to December
  • Winter:  January to May
  • Summer: May to August

The academic year for Seneca courses is two semesters. All courses are offered from September. Some courses are not offered in January and May. Students may apply to Seneca College at any time of the year.

  • Business Co-op
  • Fashion Arts
  • Travel and Tourism
  • Computer Programs

The Business Co-op Programs offers students a chance to work at a Canadian company while studying at Seneca.

Seneca College also offers Post Graduate courses that run for one year to students who have completed a university or college program. Some of the courses offered include:

  • Marketing Management
  • International Business Management
  • Human Resources
  • Digital Animation
  • Web-Master

Students can transfer Seneca College courses to select universities in Canada for university credit.

It is also possible to complete a Seneca College diploma course and a York University Degree in three years.

Canada House offers free counseling for students interested in attending Seneca and a tour can be arranged of the college.
