 We arrange year-round social, cultural and educational extracurricular activities for you to enjoy. Our Social Programs help you practice English in a casual environment, while learning more about Canadian life. Monthly excursions include locations such as Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Blue Mountain and Algonquin Park. Weekly activities in Toronto include visits to the CN Tower, the Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto Island, the Metro Zoo, pub nights, parties, and more. It's all part of the Canada House experience!
Trip to Ottawa
Transportation, accommodations, and attractions are included. Book by May 10, 1999, for a special discount. Approximate price $225.00. Attractions include: guided tour of Ottawa, the Parliament Buildings, the Supreme Court, Royal Canadian Mint and the National Art Gallery. Students will need to bring extra money for food, additional attractions if desired and personal shopping. Depart 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and return 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The following programs are for students enrolled in Intensive ESL study only. You can apply for these programs while studying at Canada House.
White Water Rafting
 Canada House goes wild on the Ottawa River! Included in the cost is: transportation to and from the resort in a luxury coach, accommodation for 2 nights at the resort, all meals (vegetarian too!), and a complete waterfront program including pedal boats and boat cruises. Sports include beach volleyball, horseshoes, paddle tennis, soccer, softball, lawn chess, and ball hockey. You also have use of the indoor lounge with fireplaces, sundecks, hot tubs, and licensed dining. Nightlife includes lively campfires, entertainment, dancing. Options: bungee jumping, horseback riding, mountain biking. Don´t miss this incredible opportunity to see Canada´s breathtaking wilderness!
Snowboarding and Snowskiing
 Come join our exciting ski trip to Horseshoe Valley Resort! There are two skiing packages and two snowboarding packages to choose from. Each includes your lift-ticket for all hills, equipment rental, and transportation to and from the resort. For the new skier or snowboarder, premium packages include lessons. Prices vary, but approximate costs are $90-$120 Cdn.

Bus Tours to Montreal and Ottawa
 Several times each year, Canada House offers trips to these two dynamic metropolitan cities! Take in the nightlife of exciting Montreal and marvel at the architectural beauty and cobblestone streets of Old Montreal. Bus tours to Ottawa offer similar features to the trip outlined at the top of this page. Next scheduled trips are mid-November and mid-December. Don´t miss out!
