Students completing the Upper-Advanced Level at Canada House can obtain free counseling for
application and course selection to Trent University. A TOEFL test is not required to obtain admission to the university upon successful completion of the course.
All students must complete an English Placement Test upon entering the college.

The academic year consists of two sessions:

International Services
Trent International Services provide kind and caring service to its students. There is counseling available for immigration, health insurance, and
academic programs. To ease the transition to university, the Office also published the International Students Handbook and organizes a three-day orientation camp in September.
Also, the Academic Skills Center offers ESL students free workshops for students enrolled at Trent. These workshops are for students enrolled in
the university only. Some of the workshops include: Essay Writing, Critical Reading and Grammar for Language Students.
