English Plus Activities -
Summer Adult Programs Canada House offers a Summer ESL program for short-term visitors to Toronto.The English Plus Activities program combines
English practice with sightseeing and cultural events. It is a great opportunity for students to learn more about Toronto and improve their English. Schedule English Plus Activities is available for the July OR August sessions, one month only! (refer to our calendar for specific dates)
The course timetable is as follows:
Integrated Skills Class
8:30 to 10:30
|
15-minute break |
Communication Class
10:45 to 12:45
|
30-minute lunch break |
Cultural/Sightseeing Activity
1:15 to 3:15 |
Levels Students are placed in different levels for the Integrated and
Communication Skills class. Levels are mixed for the Cultural/Sightseeing Activity.
Practice English in a real-life situation About the ActivitiesWeekly activities are planned by both the
students and the teacher. The teachers do their best to accommodate all interests. Students enjoy such activities as:
- Visiting Toronto sightseeing attractions
like the CN Tower or Harbourfront
- Hiking
- Touring museums
- Going to the movies
- Picnics
- Enjoying Toronto's ethnic communities.
Fees includes admission to the activities only. Please note that transportation is not included. Weekend Activities Weekend activities are available for an additional cost and may be booked
at the school. These activities include visiting Niagara Falls, camping or horseback riding. Fee: $1295 (CDN) Includes
