SPOUSAL PROGRAM

Each 20-hour session develops language skills helpful for the transition to and social integration into Canadian society.  Instructors emphasize practical vocabulary and survival conversation skills.  The program is designed to help spouses to feel more integrated into their new society.   Units based around Canadian life and customs are attentive to the language and cultural difficulties that spouses may encounter because of their relocation.

Program includes:

• Needs assessment in consultation with organization
• End of session progress report
• Photocopies which detail the grammar point emphasized in each class
• Certificate of completion
