Students choosing the shared room option cannot change their homestay.
Students choosing the “Homestay with 3 meals a day” or “breakfast only” options can change or extend their homestay during their first
week, free of charge. After the first week, there is a $100 placement fee charged.
Students in homestay who plan to leave earlier than originally contracted must give 30 days notice before the beginning of a session.
Students leaving with less than 30 days notice do not receive a refund.
A student’s homestay is only available while he or she is at Canada House.
Students who stay with host families over school breaks should be prepared to pay the daily rate from Sunday night after school finishes
through Thursday (5 nights) before class starts again.
Students can make their holiday plans once in Canada but must inform their families as soon as possible of any new plans.
